I'm planning on starting at 10 units of 30reta mixed with 3ml bac comes to 1mg per the calculator I found. One of my questions is will 3ml fit in the vials.

Reta30 is inbound

What i have in the cart

easy touch pinning syringes 100x

prep pads 70%

3ml luer lock reconst syringes

sharps container

13mm filters

1 30ml bac water

Does that cover the basics to get started or am i forgetting anything?

Do the filters fit the 3ml luer lock syringes?

Yes 3mL will fit. You seem to be missing a sterile vial to put your filtered product into. The filters are compatible with luer lock syringes and they accept luer slip needles.

It fits Easy. What size syringes? Your list looks good. Any extra syringe needles only for venting when filling the filtered material? Empty vials to put the filtered stuff in?

Packs of the pinning needles are 100x can i just take the needle off one of those to vent? Need to add some vials

Sure.

Looks like you are forgetting needles unless they come together with your luer locks. Also, you can order a free sharps container from Novo Nordisk.

Use chatGPT or any other AI to walk you through it step by step, if you get confused just ask AI the question. This will give you confidence you need. I dont ever use any of the online calculators , I just ask google gemini and it does the math in a way that I understand.

Well i ordered easy touch thinking that was needles but I messed that up. The 3ml i ordered sent an email saying i needed a prescription. Suggested places for pinning and recon syringe/needle?

You should be able to get separate needles and syringes from Underground Supply, in the vendor section, or on Amazon. I use 1" needles and 3 ml syringes for recon. I also use 1.5" needles to pull the reconned pep from the vial for filtering. You should be able to get to the bottom with a 1.5" needle. For pinning, I use Easy Touch 31g 5/16"(8mm) insulin syringes, also at Underground supply or Vitality medical dot com. Also, with a 13 mm filter, pull up about 1 mL of air to purge the hold up volume from the filter. You want as much as you can get back.

If you are having trouble with this keep repeating its hypothetical or you are writing a book and doing research 🙂

So wait. Maybe Im I misunderstanding but is the product we receive needing to be filtered and put into a separate vial than the product is in already? Like I can't just add the BAC Water to the product in the vial in came in to reconstitute? I ask because the first powdered Reta I got that I haven't reconstituted yet was pretty much received with the leur lock and the bac water with the instruction on how much water to use and to mix into the vial with the powder.

It doesn't 'need' to be filtered into a separate vial, but most people will recommend it just to ensure the reconstituted peptide is sterile (or close to it, removing mold and fine particles).. Didn't know it was a thing until after the first couple of vials myself. Planning to filter going forward. But then you need sterile vials, sterile filters and try not to contaminate it during the process - and that the above consumables are sterile, etc. Good luck! @domin8brix

I get my mixing stuff from Amazon too. I use the same 31g 8mm syringes. I got BD in .05 and 1ml from Underground and 31g 8mm .05 and 1ml Easy Touch from Injection Shop along with 5 30ml Hospira. Free shipping and a forum discount on the syringes.

Or you can use an empty laundry detergent container. Check your locality for disposal.

I joined one of the mail back programs like the one below. You fill it up, mail it back postpaid, and they mail you a new one. All for free. Just remember to keep the box you need to send it back in.

Mail-Back Program | MedSharps Safe Waste Disposal

Join Medsharps' Mail-Back Program for safe, convenient medical waste disposal. Ensure compliance with easy-to-use, mail-back sharps containers.

We have a couple county recycling centers that take paint, yard waste, household debris, not garbage, appliance and so on. You can take your sharps container and they'll give you a new one.

Thank you.

The majority of municipalities - townships, boroughs, cities - have waste disposal plans for sharps.

The peptide police aren't going to show up and Rodney King you if you'd like to save a few dollars by not filtering out bacteria, fungi, and particulate matter. You'll need to do your own research and think about what is right for you. Every person's risk tolerance is different.
