Cerebrolysin: first cycle

I just want to thank all of you who've been sharing your experience, both with Cerebrolysin itself and with your purchasing adventures.

No TBI here, thankfully, but I worry about the effect of aging of the brain. The thought of injecting that much product IM is kind of scary. I may start out with just one of the components (P21) that has some of the benefits of Cerebrolysin with less of the hassle.

I found a list of constituents on the Peptide Society site.

Nerve Growth Factor: An important protein for development and maintenance of neurons, specifically neurons involved in pain, temperature and touch sensation. Nerve growth factor functions by binding to either the NTRK1 receptor or the p75NTR receptor which are both found on the surface of sensory neurons.

Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF): Protein found in the brain and spinal cord that is responsible for growth, maturation and maintenance of neurons. In the brain, BDNF is active in the synapse and is important in regulating synaptic plasticity.

Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor (CNTF): A brain derived protein that promotes neuron survival and axonal outgrowth during neuronal development.

Enkephalins: Functions as a ligand for the kappa-type opioid receptor. Competes with and mimics effects of opiate drugs and therefore plays a role in pain perception and response to stress.

Orexin: Functions as a ligand which binds to orphan G-protein coupled receptors that play a role in regulation of sleep and arousal as well as feeding behavior, metabolism and homeostasis.

P21: The pentamer Ac-DGGLAG-NH2 is a peptide fragment of Cerebrolysin that has been found to play a role in neurogenesis and neuronal plasticity.
P21 appears to be the only thing that is obtainable in the grey.

I'm doing it for the same reasons. I've had 4 TBIs that I can remember. The last one was in 2016 when I got rear-ended by a kid on his phone at 75 mph while I was stopped in traffic. I was in physical rehab for 6 months. The first one was when I was 8 when I fell down a well. Fun times! I'm hoping cerebrolysin gets me closer to normal but I'm not sure I'll know it when I see it.
Cerebrolysin at therapeutic doses is typically administered in a clinical setting 24-72 hours following a stroke or TBI. Dosages range from 20-50 ml daily - which means IV drip over the course of an hour. That works out to 4320-10800 mg PER DAY as true Cerebrolysin comes as a liquid in amber glass ampoules (5 or 10 ml, approximately 216 mg/ml). If you’re buying powder from CN, it’s probably coming as 60 mg vials. Good luck - you’ll need at least 72 vials to get one dose.

I’ve had promising results doing 10 ml daily for 10 day runs. It’s seemingly helped with forgetfulness and brain fog. Planning on doing that every three months. (10 ml daily as two 5 ml IM pins, one in each thigh. Using 27g - fairly comfortable.)

You can find cerebroprotein hydrolysate by poking around here in the gray world. A five pack of 5 ml vials runs $40-85. I know a bunch of folks have ordered the Russian stuff - apparently legit product - just takes a while to actually receive the order.

I'll have to go look again. I paid $319 and it looked closer to $600 on VEV.

I also checked Uther's price sheet and it looks like 10 vials for $45? One of these is not like the other.
Uther’s is undoubtedly powder - 30 mg powder packaged in 10 ml vials like the ones used for NAD and glutathione.

Interesting that it's labeled "GMP". That implies that it's produced in a regulated facility.

Yes, I read all the literature. Obviously, I'm drawing the line at a self-administered, at-home IV and it's way late for that anyway. I'm just hoping to clean up the periphery of the damage at this point, and hope to gain a bit of additional clarity for my remaining years.

That's weird...my Uther price list, same price, says the same thing, w/o the red "powder" inserted in there. Can I ask how old your list is? My list is about a month old.

I'm guessing they added "powder" in red, because buyers were confused and thought they were getting the liquid.

I also perused the test results file and among the hundreds of entries I didn’t see one for the cerebro. Hmm. We’ve been speculating what’s exactly in that cerebro powder. If I missed that, my bad.

Okay, I'm officially confused. I went direct to the Uther website a while back and applied to be a wholesaler since I buy bulk (they have a minimum kit purchase and a minimum buy amount)...I have seen that TG platform, but I couldn't reconcile if it was legit or not, due to the options and prices being different. Let me see if I can attach my list.

You can click on all of the products for janoshik test...I buy bulk as I have a herd of horses I'm pinning and while I like the prices better on the TG Uther platform...I just didn't know if it was real Jano tested Uther peps they were selling.

I’m now equally confused. I couldn’t open your attachment so I went to the Uther web site. Holy carp those prices made my eyes bleed. I notice there’s no test report for their cerebro. The vial pic sure looks like it’s a powder but they probably copy and paste that vial pic and change the text box.

If it's the real deal liquid for $45, I'm just going to make a gallons worth of it and just stick my head in it and forget the IV.

Yeah, those prices are single vial "public" prices...you have to email them to be considered for wholesale...I still find their GLP prices too high, but I don't get my GLPs through them...the others are competitive.

By the time I get my kits for my horses and my personal add ons, I typically drop around 1k per order...which seems to be fine for them.

There are several fake Uther TG groups and websites out there (probably Discord too). The real group has the 1/12 price list reposted 2/20 that @latviantower screenshotted above. Just a general reminder be careful to ensure you have the right channel when looking for Uther.

The GB for cere from RU that closed in Jan was RU website price minus 8% plus $20 GB fee for a comparison on liq pricing.

Yeah the 1/12 price list was same on both TG and DC, both posted on 2/20. Think that was right after a DC nuking.

Good to know! Thanks...I like those prices even better than doing Uther wholesale direct. I've just been unsure if they were legit or not...ugh, it's sometimes reaaally difficult to tell.
