Can i use this case in the freezer ?

Bought this case for vial transport and realized i wont actually need it for transport because i wont risk customs with more than 2 vials.

Should i use it in the freezer instead of the plastic box the vials come in ?

I have one of those. I keep my kits in the plastic it came in, label it, and arrange them on top of the foam. Then into the freezer. I don't like to take my vials out of the plastic box until I get to using that particular kit. It would confuse me in the long run.

I just ordered that one this past Friday, intending to use in freezer as my other one was too small. Hope it works out better.

I have 7 of those in my freezer. Amazon sells a lunchbox icepack that fits in the mesh compartment. I put the vials in so that their bases are in contact with the icepack then I overkill with a silica packet and vacuum seal as pictured.
