So, the Cargilintide fibrils group had about 100 members and then the StG Discord Server got nuked and was never was restored.... What a bummer....

Tangentially related, not sure if anyone is interested, but I'm working with a couple of others on testing this cagri.

Very interested to see the results of this. It might lay to rest some worries alot of people have.

Yeah, it would be great to see the results. The good news was that the group had a HUGE number of folks interested in testing and sharing the cost of the tests, but the BAD news is StG's Discord Server was nuked and wasn't restored. So, there is no way to get back in touch with those 100+ folks.

Still looking to see if a new group reformed after the nuke, but it doesn't look like it.

petrelintide maybe the replacement as it is potent, stable, long-acting analogue of human amylin that can be formulated at about neutral pH. Studies show that there is no fibril formation. currently in phase 2 clinical studies with semi

I don't have this batch from this vendor but I will contribute to cost of testing. Can you connect me to the group?

I know I'm late but if this is somehow still happening I'd like to contribute!

It got nuked a few months ago and I don't think it ever reorganized (unfortunately).

I've also been thinking that even if fibrils form in the vial, I'm not sure if they can travel from the SQ location to the brain and cross the BBB.
Exactly. My research shows this is mostly a non-issue. Fibrils don't migrate in the body. Amyloid plaques found in Alzheimer's patients are an example of fibrils. They don't cause problems anywhere else. If a fibril formed at the injection site, even if formed, the immune system would attack it right where it is. I'm not worried from what I've seen.

Eloralintide beats both of them. Significantly more weight loss after a year of use (~20% vs ~10%) and unlike both its specific to amylin 1/3 and not calcitonin. Also developped for low to no propensity to fibrils. Cant wait for it to be produced in china.

Damn so I wasted money on cagri for nothing, this is probably the drug I'm waiting on the most, stacking this with reta would basically be bariatric surgery in a jab, I'd never have to worry about being obese again 😊

I think the bigger advantage of eloralintide is the good weight loss with quite a lot less side effects than cagrilintide, which has pretty high rates of nausea and vomiting, at least at higher doses used in the studies like 2.4mg. But it is not available from china yet, so cagri is the only option for amylin agonists at the moment, except pramlintide which is for diabetes.

well Lilly owns both elora and reta/tirz so its only matter of time I think until we see the results of combination therapy! Cant wait to see those numbers personally but the trials are probably a few years away.

Q4 (the quadruple agonist) a/k/a Eloraretatide, you'll lose 45% of your starting weight but you'll be anchored to the toilet and suffer nausea like you were living life on a permanent rollercoaster.

Whenever we reorganize, I'm in for this one

I honestly don't think that the group is going to form again. The person who was leading is @brownguy89 on TG, goes by Raaaaaaaandy J. I was going to DM them, but not paying to DM.

But I have some good news regarding Cagri and fibrils. There is actually some really good information over on Peppys that was prepared by "The Roundtable". This is a link to one of the documents that will link you to other documents. I'm feeling much more comfortable.

It is so individual. I am on 2.5 mg Cagri weekly and no side effects. Cagri comes on strong for a few days and then for me disappears by day 4-5. Warms me up though and gives me energy.

No one in the public testing group is doing this?
