Been taking Reta for 4 months. I am diagnosed with moderate-severe social anxiety and one thing I have recently noticed (6mg every 6 days) is that caffeine makes my anxiety really really bad. I tried changing to matcha but even that is too strong. Have you guys experienced something similar?

I have changed to taking armodafinil 75mg instead

How is it working for you so far?

I love coffee. But when I'm really anxious, I have to avoid it. Because it can make me more anxious.

What helps me is to reduce the anxiety with data-attachments-17-17983-7648c9eee602eb51d86220752b04ca91.jpg.webp

and other methods and protocols.

When my anxiety improves, I can drink coffee. Yay!!!

I found that Reta seemed to increase my anxiety. I’m not sure if it’s because I was also on tirz while titrating down, but it got pretty bad. I stopped Reta and I’m just on tirz for the time being. Naturally during that time I avoided things that increased my anxiety like caffeine and stimulant meds (adhd and only take when needed). It’s something I haven’t seen discussed much on the forums but it’s been my experience.

I take L-Theanine when I have any more caffeine than a can of soda and it makes a huge difference in the jittery/anxious feeling

Never had an issue and I sometimes will drink 10 cups in one morning. I like to let my coffee cool down so I can chug a tall glass of it. So, I might not be the best test case for this issue. 😂

Really good, had some side effects at the beginning but it really helps to keep me focused on tasks and awake ! I also have some modafinil but prefer armodafinil

What is your anecdotal experience between modafinil & armodafinil?

I'm trying this asap!

I'm down to maybe a cup and a half these days. No desire, and could probably skip it. I used to help me poop. Not so much these days.

No way I'm giving up coffee. Or as I like to call it, naughty mud.

I went from a whole pot in the mornings to one cup. I really enjoy the one cup though!

Coffee gives me full out jitters and anxiety. It is absolutely wild.

Whenever offered a cup I always reply, "No thanks, I'm not into hard drugs."

I have anxiety and ive avoided caffeine for almost 10 years now. Its the worse possible thing for anxiety in my opinion.

Ok, you people are strange! Chugging 10 cups of coffee? Naughty mud? Where are you in real life, everyone I know is boring.
