I came to Reta after months of stall with a fair bit to lose still. I tried many many things systematically to break the months of stall and few/none really worked. So Reta was my next step.

My first five weeks of Reta I had a net gain of 1lb from my starting weight. Did nothing at all for me. The suppression was so different compared to MJ/ tirz. I still had it, even from the start, but it was lighter, more “meh” than “no thanks. I don’t want that” which I had before. Def not same level of mental clarity either. My shape did change a bit I think though. Tirz I think also had a mood element.

I gradually titrated up to 6mg. From the beginning with Reta I was split dosing Mondays and Fridays. No side effects and no weight loss allowed me to move up. Faster than I originally set out to do, sadly, but it wasn’t working for me and Research on the forum showed that some people like me ( switchers) don’t get a response until 6 mg.

The only advantage of split dosing for me is that I didn’t get injection site sensitivity when split dosing. Week 5 I did 3 then 3. Then week 6 I moved to 6mg single dose and lost weight that week. Same this week with single dose of 6mg.

5lbs in two weeks after months of nothing. Losing and gaining the same 1lb. But also have injection site sensitivity now from the all in one dose. I had the same on MJ/Tirz so nothing new. Also burning through my freezer supply faster than originally planned for 🤣 #peptidefears

I plan to stay on 6mg as long as it’s working for me. When it isn’t I will move up by 0.5mg. I have invested in some cagri for future stall breaking, but I need some further research before I think about using it. At the moment I don’t feel I need to but the time may come, usually sooner than I think/ want.
Interesting. I tried Reta earlier this year after taking a 2 month GLP1 break so I could start with the lowest dose. Tried to stay low as well..and gained. I was at goal, and basically gained back 10 lbs. trying to get it to work. The highest I went was 6mg. It did not kill food noise at all for me; it also didn't take away my hunger like Wegovy/Sema or ZepBound/Tirz. I felt odd on it. Not sick, not nauseous - just weird. I decided to go back to Tirz but am in a major stall. I've worked my way up to 15mg/shot which I have never done in the past three years I've used this stuff, and am finally feeling not hungry, but I'm still having some food noise. I tried splitting my Tirz dose midweek but kept forgetting so I'm back to a weekly shot. I have a ton of Reta left and am thinking about bumping it midweek but I'm not sure it will really do anything. Kind of frustrated at this point. Tried to up my exercising and watching my food intake, but admittedly my stress level has been pretty high lately so it might be cortisol. Sigh.

Trues there is a huge variety of responses..I had suppression at .5mg.

The studies and conclusions I have read all show that Pharma's biggest concern is acceptance, and continuance of use among users. Even more than side effects, which are dose dependent,

users would choose less pokes with needles vs more frequent pokes.

My results so far are on par with once weekly dosers using either 4mg Reta, or 10mg tirze at 24 weeks. around 14.5% loss of body weight.

I am now (recently) up to 2.5 Reta and 3mg Tirze, split up. I just titrated up however, so most of that loss was on lower amounts. I have yet to experience any nausea, or disturbing gastric side effects.

The studies on Reta show that some users lost over 30% on just 4mg, while the majority were up to max dose to get there. so there are great differences among individuals. It would have been nice if they had included lifestyle information to see if that correlates. But they are selling a drug not lifestyles.
Plus you have to consider who is chosen for the trials...not people with 20 lbs. to lose, which you're going to find more of on here doing gray. That's why I can only put so much weight - no pun intended - into clinical trials for myself.
