I’ve been a daily smoker for 12 years. I’ve never really had issues with paranoia or getting overwhelmed. Yesterday was shot day and it was my second 5mg. I was still having a little suppression but after my shot my appetite decreased again. I was feeling pretty good all day, cleaning and getting stuff done around the house and running errands. I have been getting a mild cold but it wasn’t too bad.

I went to smoke before dinner and I had an infused king roll preroll (only half) and I seemed to get worse cold symptoms, didn’t feel the effect of the Tirz like at all, ate a lot (kept it pretty healthy but couldn’t resist a couple of my Easter treats I had) and this morning I don’t feel as full as usual. I also got major paranoia and anxiety. I literally just went to bed early.

I read somewhere that weed can effect the potency of the Tirz levels in your system, like dropping the amount. I can’t find any corroborating literature about it. Anyone else having bad reactions to weed, going BEYOND just the munchies???

I believe I will no longer be smoking and instead will stick to 5mg THC 5mg CBD gummies because I do not want to feel that way again…..

Quit the weed addiction for a peptide addiction and problem solved 😁
This is honestly the first time in 12 years that I am specifically put off my weed and honestly it’s probably a good thing

There is a study that I talked about in another thread that looked at the interaction of weed and glp1 levels.

Post in thread 'Tirzepatide + weed — anyone else deal with this?'

[archived internal link]

Basically, there was a trend for decreased glp1 levels (p 0.08) with marijuana as well as significant effects on insulin levels.

For me, using Tirz has taken away my desire for alcohol and marijuana. I am curious, if different strains of marijuana (Sativa, Indica, hybrid) have different impacts on “hunger” hormone levels (ghrelin, glp1, insulin, etc).
