-Remove any obvious bubbles by tapping; do not push fluid back and forth through the needle (reduces shear/adsorption risk)
I usually am reconning a 30mg peptide with 3ml bac in a 3ml vial. I cannot pre force 3ml of air into that, in order to draw out the solution on one go. I always have to do a seesaw, air in, peptide out, air in peptide out system until its all out. The only way to avoid that would be to only initially recon with 1-2ml bac and then, add more bac separately to the new vial/cart. Which, if I used that syringe to add back some of that bac into the luer lock as a flush it would work I suppose?
I reconned and filtered yesterday, I pre wetted the filter with bac, before starting recon. It worked fine. but when flushing more bac into the cart the filter seemed to blow out, whoosh and a ton of bubbles. I am not that strong, I dont push very hard. IDK why this happens to me.
