I've used Coinbase for years, it is solid and perfectly secure. The only issue I've had (and it recurs) is i occasionally get flagged for security and then I can never pass the verification with my drivers license photo because i lost so much weight that i don't look the same. This can get very annoying and you have to wait a few days for it to clear. There is no recourse to not being able to verify yourself with a photo online, it doesn't matter who you call, chat or email at Coinbase, you must verify via photo or wait. I actually went to the GMV today to update my photo on my driver's license.
thats hilarious. Luckily, my license pic was when I was thinner, but my face looks full for some reason, so I guess im covered!

Cashapp doesn’t like Exodus… it refuses to cooperate with this wallet. Coinbase to Exodus is like a dream. Except for the occasional hold on funds.
I now have a Coinbase account. After my first transfer of funds into Coinbase, there was a six-day hold. And when I first tried to transfer the funds (USDC) to Exodus, Coinbase displayed "Likely Scam!" and forced me to upload my passport and make a video turning my had and reading numbers. to (re-) verify my identity.

For my second purchase, I transferred funds to Coinbase and was surprised (shocked, actually), to see no hold at all, but when I tried to transfer the funds to Exodus, it was "Likely Scam!" all over again. But this time, there was no identity verification. Instead, they were concerned that I was BEING scammed. So they had me engage in session with a chatbot, answering questions to convince it that I wasn't being scammed. Whew. Does it ever get easier?

I have not run into this at all. Maybe because my coinbase was set up a few months ago? But no, no issues form CB to Exodus for me
