My husband takes Dutasteride. He’s also on TRT. Some men report libido issues. I can say he has had very mild issues with libido after he first began taking it, but that has resolved on its own. He has a high sex drive so it really never was an issue, however if you have any issues in that area ymmv.mtfuji said:Curious if anything works for any form of hair growth, head of course?
You have to be very careful with DHT blockers. Most times it's not worth it. ymmv of course.chelsea daggerz said:My husband takes Dutasteride. He’s also on TRT. Some men report libido issues. I'm researching topical DHT blocker, pumpkin seed oil, on my bold spot. 56m, just started, will report in a month or twod0se1 said:You have to be very careful with DHT blockers. Most times it's not worth it. ymmv of course.

I ended up using finasteride as it's half life is much shorter than dutasteride but it seems dutasteride is more effective at wiping out DHT.chelsea daggerz said:My husband takes Dutasteride. He was using that for a few years before he started the Dutasteride. The TRT had really done a number on his hairline. He’s just undergone a hair transplant mid November and has also incorporated red light therapy and GLOW. It’s about 3 months before the transplant hairs begin to grow, so he has about another month. He will continue to take the Dutasteride throughout and has no plans of quitting it atm.Peptidesearch said:I ended up using finasteride as it's half life is much shorter than dutasteride but it seems dutasteride is more effective at wiping out DHT.

Dutasteride has a significantly longer half-life (around 4-5 weeks) compared to finasteride (6-8 hours)

Actually most of them time it is worth it. You can look at the studies, the rate of side effects for dutasteride/finasteride for hairloss are on the order of 5-10%d0se1 said:You have to be very careful with DHT blockers. Most times it's not worth it. ymmv of course.

Dr Wallach, the nutrition quack, has been saying for more than 20 years that the main problem with hair loss is the major lack of copper in our diet. Now I find out GHK-CU is the solution to a lot of skin problems and you might also look into AHK-CU that's supposed to target hair issues.Bball24 said:I know that being on TRT has caused some thinning of my hair. I’ve read that GHK-CU can help make it thicker, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m about three weeks in and haven’t seen any results yet, but I’m not rushing it. This isn’t a drag race for me.

I don't know, I'm over 50 and I think GHK-Cu (subQ and topical) has helped some skin wrinkles, and maybe my hair is a bit more lustrous (or the haircut is better), but the only hairs that came back were the ones I didn't want and thought I'd gotten rid of! I didn't need the bumper crop of ear and nose hair.Bball24 said:I know that being on TRT has caused some thinning of my hair. There is significant question as to whether or not PFS even exists or if it is all psychosomatic.d0se1 said:You have to be very careful with DHT blockers. Most times it's not worth it. ymmv of course.

2. Apply retinol cream or gel to the scalp 1 hour before the topical solutions . The irritation helps the solutions to penetrate the dermis or use a needling device or needle roller. You can use cream and roller for the most penetration of the following solutions .
3.Topical minoxidil with topical finesteride
(You can get from HIMS or from AllDayChemist)
4. GHK-Cu peptide topically
5. PTD-DPM peptide topically alone or mixed with the following two peptides….
6. Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 topically
7. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 topically

I've been taking oral Minoxidil + Finasteride for the last 3-4 months for male pattern baldness and the difference is remarkable. It's visibly thicker and more dense. Now when I touch my the top of my head, I feel thick hair instead of wispy nothingness before.mtfuji said:Curious if anything works for any form of hair growth, head of course?

The Minox/finesteride topical first. After it’s soaked in I do the peptide mixtures. I stopped the oral finesteride. Was giving me sexual side effects I didn’t like. Maybe I’ll try again some other day.Ruckus4519 said:Is that all altogether? or separate and in any sort of order?
