Hey all. I started taking Cagri yesterday, I tested the pH just reconstitued with bac and it came to around 6. What’s everyone’s thoughts? I have heard 6 is good, but some others swear by only doing 4 for safety. I also heard the Acetic Acid burns a lot when going in haha so any alternatives that may lower pH but be fine to use with the cagri without degradation? Thanks!

It is not the acetic that burns, it is the pH. Anything you use to lower pH away from somewhat neutral is going to irritate tissue. If a shot burning is an issue, youo probably want to look at other options. i am very lucky, even if I do get a burn it is short lived. Even L Carnitine only burns for 15 - 20 seconds for me whereas some people feel it all day. Acetic acid doesn't phase me at all. You might be lucky like me. Never know til you try.

Amyloid fibril formation

I've seen topics and posts going both ways on this. It seems like PH needs to be under around 4-4.5 exactly to be considered safe for this. However, a lot of people don't seem to think it's a risk either way and this is overblown etc. Would love to know your thoughts on this. I have some I...

I use intex bac, which I think is a brand just here in the UK maybe, but trustworthy. My pH is around 6 with that which is normal for just mixing with bac it seems.

That link is useful thank you! I might just get the acetic acid and try it in one vial.

In US, Hospira is 6 and from what Irad it acceptable with Cargri. Ascetic Acid can be used to lower Ph but I wont use the vial past 4 weeks with AA mixed in.

Ah ok thanks! I got my hands on acetic acid, so I am gonna give it a go and see how it is!

go easy on how much you put in! keep checking the Ph and add more if needed. I think you gotta let it sit in there for a few minutes to get make sure its mixed up fully.Im thinking may be 10 unit to start?

Ok cool that’s good advice thank you. I have the cagri in 5mg amounts in a standard 10ml vial.
