Anger issues with Tesofensine

Or just get cases of energy drinks delivered to the ER during your shift 😀

But that's why I like the clen. It has such a long period of duration. I really think because of the longer half-life, one can probably just take 40 mcg each morning instead of the safer-seeming 20 mcg twice a day (as prescribed for asthma in Europe).

Substance Typical Elimination Half-Life Notes Clenbuterol 25-39 hours (up to 48 hours) Significantly longer-acting. Provigil (Modafinil) 12-15 hours Wakefulness-promoting agent. Nuvigil (Armodafinil) ~15 hours R-enantiomer of modafinil, similar half-life but more sustained effect. Coffee (Caffeine) ~5 hours Can vary widely (1.5-9.5 hours) based on individual factors. Red Bull (Caffeine) ~5 hours Same as coffee's caffeine. Red Bull (Taurine) 0.7-1.4 hours Very short half-life. Red Bull (Glucuronolactone) ~1 hour Very short half-life.

I recommend you switch to Clenbutetal. It has a longer half life but you can start slow and low. Able to stay calm during accident investigation and while interviewing people.

Modifinal is good too but I believe will pop on a drug test.
I'll look into it. Thanks.

Wellbutrin is a NDRI with minimal effect on serotonin.

Tesofensine is a SNDRI

Both inhibit the re uptake of Dopamine and Norepinephrine.

Norepinephrine is responsible for focus, alertness, basically the fight or flight response in our bodies.

Taken together seems like a panic attack waiting to happen.😬 Having said that, we are all different, and, as the saying goes your mileage may vary.

GLP1 fatigue here, if I can get a 20 minute nap in the afternoon, I'm good. Otherwise I drag. For a variety of reasons, I got exactly zero sleep last night. I've had a bottle of Teso sitting on my shelf for a couple months that I haven't tried yet. This morning I decided to take 1/2 of one at lunchtime. Should have taken it sooner. I wasn't very tired all day but I ran home after work to get my 20 minute nap. Nope, ain't happening.

As for anger, I'm a couple months into TRT. I've just noticed in the last week some serious anger issues just like I had in my 20's. Ugh. I hate that but I like the other effects of TRT. Might have to cut my dose. I'll decide after labs in a few weeks. I hope the teso doesn't make it worse cuz it's nice not to be falling asleep all day.

Yeah, I think your right. Since stopping the Teso my anger issues are under control. Glad it was simple.

It seems like all of these energy producing items come with their on set of issues.

Once I realized that Tesofensine had the MRI effects I bacame concerned. Id rather be a little fatigued than crazy..lol. That was my take on it and I decided I would taper off and perhaps, use occasionally.

The Clen has it's own set of challenges as does phentermine, modafinil, and armodafinil.

I am currently sticking to MOTS and B12, ensuring that I have plenty of electrolytes and protein in my diet.

I am sure Teso will be different for many, but there is a lot of discussion about potential issues with wellbutrin (NDRI blocks norepinephrine) and SSRI's. (Teso works by increasing the levels of three neurotransmitters – dopamine, serotonin, and noradrenaline) which seems it is stacking on the Wellbutrin.

More on the combo HERE

TLDR:

Combining tesofensine with dopaminergic antidepressants, such as Wellbutrin, is also risky. This is because excess stimulation of dopamine can be addictive, and you may develop a tolerance for these drugs, reducing their efficacy [ 12 ]. Excess norepinephrine stimulation can increase sympathetic tone, blood pressure , heart rate, and common side effects of taking tesofensine [ 13 ].
Teso is a reuptake inhibitor. An SNDRI to be more precise. It doesn’t directly increase the amount of any neurotransmitter, it slows their reabsorption by blocking transporter proteins on the presynaptic neuron. This keeps the neurotransmitters in the synaptic cleft longer, increasing their availability to bind with receptors on the postsynaptic neuron, which amplifies their effects. Wellbutrin functions similarly on norepinephrine and dopamine (NDRI- as you pointed out). But essentially, yeah, you are just adding more NDRI to an SNDRI when you stack Wellbutrin with teso.

I know there is not a lot of discussion about Teso lately, but for those of us that do have you noticed increased anger or irritability while using it? Especially anyone on a SSRI like Wellbutrin.

I work nights in a E.R., and started taking it to help with fatigue since I am on the Triz train and can no longer tolerate drinking pots of coffee like I used to pre-Triz. The first week of four things were going great, but this last week I have been just very curt and angry with damn near everyone and everything. It didn't happen all of a sudden. Its been getting worse gradually. Granted I usually hate my job (because of the drunks, drug addicts, plus the 12 hours straight of continuous mental illness that almost all patients display when they are in a Emergency Room) and what I have to put up with to make a living, but this was beyond that.

I've stopped the Teso, and hopefully this will go away. If it does, great for me. If it doesn't, I've got bigger problems.

Sorry for the rant, but I am genuinely curious how it effects others that take it.
yes. I had to discontinue research with Teso after about 3 weeks for that exact reason. I have adhd and it felt similar to how Addy made me have terrible mood wings and irritability. For some of us it just has unpleasant effects on the brain chemistry.

Glad you figured out what was causing it 🙂 Wellbutrin+tesofensine can cause serotonin syndrome, one of the biggest side of effects of SS is anger/aggression. I'd love to try it, but I am kind of in the same boat 🙁

It's been a very long time since I've been on any anti-depressants (they all had some kind of bad effect in one way or another for me), but ones that acted on norepinephrine (Wellbutrin and Effexor, namely) were the worst. Given how this drug works, it's one I'll personally stay away from.
