I started Reta 4 weeks and 3 days ago. I weighed in at 326 before I started. I started at half mg and added a half MG a week and decided to stick to 2mg for now. I weighed myself today and I! 'm at 301.8 lbs! I was not expecting that. I've been scale avoidant because seeing the 3## is depressing. I have noticed shirts getting looser and I've tightened my belt (but my belt stretches so I'm always tightening it) but I didn't expect to see see that today.... I had planned to possibly go up a half MG but I'm going to stsy where I am and just monitor.

Adding to that, I am using a pep stack that has helped me lock in with lifting and cardio and I'm careful about protein, carbs, hydration, and supplements. I don't have a lot of bad side effects (I sleep 6 hours a night then I'm up and have steady energy throughout the day, and occasionally I'll get little burps). I always see people say to take it slowly and that was my goal, taking a month to reach the starting trial dose as a big man... I feel excited but also cautious. Is this normal? Am I risking anything if the weight is coming off that quickly? My main concern is muscle loss. I am strength training (and now plan to incorporate more of that as I have been pretty cardio heavy)

i wouldn't consider it "too fast" you will lose a ton of glycogen and water when you first go into a big calorie deficit. you probably lost like half of that the first week. now that you have that part done the loss will be slower but it will be more "real" weight, meaning actual bodyfat and not just water/glycogen. keep up the good work! don't get discouraged if it slows down alot, remember as you drop total lbs the amount of weight loss will slow down but the % wont. even if you eventually slow down to losing like 1/4th of a pound way down the road just remember its the same % weight loss as when you were bigger.

personally id also say to stick with whatever dose IS getting you weightloss. even if its not as much as you'd like and only up the dose if you have stalled for more then like 2-3 weeks.

again great job!

Agree with bbilly here. For some of us, the weight sheds off, especially in the beginning. My first week I lost 15lbs...a lot of that was water/inflammation leaving the system. Congrats.

One thing to be aware of, your natural GH or even peptide driven GH requires sleep. With a lot of weight loss combined with working out, you will maintain lean mass better if you get plenty of sleep.
