My wife was on 5mg Zepbound pen. Doc switched her to 7.5mg and she started having body wide itching and injection site irritation.

He just switched her back to the 5mg. We’ll see in a few days when she injects again if that works.

She is allergic to all berries and mushrooms, perhaps there is something about the Tirz peptide, maybe she will build up a tolerance and be able to increase her dose in the future

Or maybe a bad lot from the manufacturer.

Good luck to your wife. Hope the reaction wasn't too bad. I've seen other posts that reactions do occur at different times in user journeys. Some use OTC products to help with the itch and irritations. If it's major reaction that's a different story. Lots of people go up in smaller increments. i.e. 5mg to 6mg. This may not be an option with the pen though.

Thanks. Her doc did tell her to use Benadryl to help with the itching. Her reaction wasn’t life threatening, thank God.

I've never had an injection site reaction but I do deal with itching and skin irritation. It's not intolerable, but definitely an irritant that I feel is a perhaps medium price to pay for the benefits of the medication.
