I can't wait to see Oyster on a season of intervention. His wife is going to get him on the show "he didn't know that any of us knew what was in his stashes all around the house. He was at the point of wanting to inject sunshine and rainbows into his belly. We've just been replacing saline with a little bit of salt into his vials" <cuts to Oyster homebrewing a lemon bottle using a lime>wtgwd said:Right.. does anybody know what lower stomach lipo really costs? My wife is NOT going to let me leave the country.Vicki said:Are the fat melters the targeted shots like kybella? If so, why not do liposuction for that much money instead? Most of it is done under local and you get actual results instead of maybe results.

I paid around like 6k in nyc but this was also 10yrs ago. They did abs and love handles. Best decision ever. If you're going to spend 2k a month anyway just save up for 3-6 months.raw_oyster_eater said:does anybody know what lower stomach lipo really costs? My wife is NOT going to let me leave the country.
so my latest idea is get a big jar of deoxycholic acid powder and make my own. the markup on this stuff is insane. I could probably make it for a couple bucks per 10ml

how much pain? awake or general anesthesia? compression garments?Vicki said:I paid around like 6k in nyc but this was also 10yrs ago. They did abs and love handles. Best decision ever. If you're going to spend 2k a month anyway just save up for 3-6 months.
All those other methods like fat dissolving, cool sculpting, etc are a waste of time and money.

I was awake. The actual procedure isn't painful they give you numbing and then inject fluid around the fat that has more numbing. I wore a compression garment I think for a month or two after. It was a little painful after the numbing wears off but I only needed ibuprofen. It's more so like really tight feeling and itchy for the next weeks as it heals.raw_oyster_eater said:how much pain? awake or general anesthesia? compression garments?

So the idea is they suck out fat and then those cells just aren’t there anymore so you gain elsewhere? How do they handle the skin that is left behind, is it accompanied by a tummy tuck?Vicki said:I was awake. The downtime wasn't bad at all. I did it on a Thursday and went back to work Monday. I have a desk job though so it's not too strenuous anyway.
But I've had kids after, got fat, lost weight again lol. The lipo results stay. One thing though is you will get fat somewhere else if you gain again and you can't pick the new spot lol. So my butt and thighs are huge when I gain weight now. I've heard of people saying they get fat in their arms though, face, etc.

They took out like 4lbs of fat they said so I didn't have much loose skin. It looked gross too like chicken with some blood. It was a little flabby but it tightened up on its own during the year. If the dr does think you'll have loose skin though they'll usually recommend you do a tummy tuck and lipo at the same time i think. That's way more expensive though. A tummy tuck is considered major surgery and done under general anesthesiaexploitedworkerbee said:So the idea is they suck out fat and then those cells just aren’t there anymore so you gain elsewhere?
