just did my 2nd pin on sunday. 1mg.

i really cant tell if its working or not. i guess its a good sign that i dont fee any side effects.
Pretty low of a dose, do what @birdwhacker. Or stay on that for 4 weeks total to let it build up in your system. Then bump up to 2mg.

I wasn't talking about you BNLFL! I meant people who aren't as cool as you. You're one of the good ones!
Can we tell my wife that brother? 🤣 🤣

You see, I really can't recommend 1mg except maybe for people who're really really sensitive or who already have their appetite/diet under control.

I've watched two people in my family start at 1mg and go up to 2mg after 4 weeks. It strikes me as a very creative way to waste your time and fuck up the drug's effectiveness for the future.

One of them, my mom, had to go up to 6mg a week from 4mg because 5mg didn't do enough for her. I think 1mg desensitizes you to the drug very quickly. You only need 1-2 weeks to acclimate to it and 3-4 weeks to get over most of the side effects.

Practice I guess. I started on 2mg. The ones that kill me, and I've commented to them. The .25, .5 and .75 ones. No idea where they get this info to start on these doses. Obviously never read the Lilly trials.

Yeah people heard "lowest effective dose" and thought that meant microdose.

In reality, it means titrate quickly to a dose that works for you and stay there as long as it works.

Down 5lbs in 6 days? To much weight loss to fast.
I agree for the first week thats alot but giving up 2 MtDos a day he would have probably lost that without Reta. Myself and several friends gave up coke and we all lost give or take 20lbs in a month.

It's generally water loss those first couple weeks.

It is my opinion that injecting reta once a week is idiotic. Reta's appetite suppression wears off after 4-5 days. I inject every three days and I pity everyone who waits more than 5 days between injections. Anyone who tells you that this is bad information is wrong and should feel bad
Everyone is different. I inject 1 time every 7 days Lost 30lbs on 1mg a week over 8 weeks. I stopped for a month and have started back 2 weeks now I have lost 6lbs. Now I must say before I started I had been eating carnivore for 4 months and had lost 20-25lbs so my diet was good when I started out on Reta I have not noticed it dropping off after 4-5 day. also I have never used more than 1mg. I guess I am a good responder. BTW not saying your info is wrong it's just everyone is different. You are giving good info I take no issue with it other than you make it sound as the only way. 🙂

You see, you're the exception. That's awesome progress. I wasn't talking about you, I meant the riff raff!

But also... I think you would have had the exact same progress if your dose had been split up! whereas the same can't be said in the other direction

Shot 4. My research partner that gives me the jab fell asleep early Friday night so I was a day late. Had her push 1mg last night(7 days). Had a tough time sleeping but we raced last night and I usually struggle to shut my brain off those nights. Don't feel any sides today, feel like the appetite suppression is back, haven't had any desire to eat anything this morning. Ive been weighing off and on through the week and bouncing from 226-232. I'm contemplating another 1mg in 3 days or just waiting the 6 days and then going up to 2mg. Food this week probably wasn't as healthy we were running and doing things almost every evening so fast food a lot this week.

Not updated in a couple weeks. I started doing 1mg every 3-4 days after the last post and my loss has kind of plateaued or maybe even gained back a couple pounds. I started taking the mag, b12 and micro/macro suggested above by bird. I felt tired most days last week and would not want to get out in the garage to work on my projects in the evenings and take a nap some afternoons (5-7pm range) I know people have mentioned being tired/sluggish with this stuff but I'm only up to roughly 2mg a week. I have a hard time eating early in the day, usually a coffee and then a lot of days I am still not hungry at lunch. I have a feeling this may be part of the reason I'm tired in the evening. I forced myself to a little eggs and sausage yesterday and then i had stomach cramps for most of the day. The bowels have slowed a bit as well but too be expected I think when you are taking in less. Weather was kind of shit this week so may have been part of it, rainy/dreary weather really effects the wife's mood, but I haven't noticed it ever bother me. Going up to 2mg shot tonight.

Down around 210.

Went to 2mg 6/29 and have maintained that pace every 6 days.

Still using the same vial from the start. That puts it around 80 days old. It seems like most people are trying to use it up within 60 days. Only thing i could find was a 30mg so thats what i mixed up. I feel like the headache sides are getting worse instead of better in the first couple days after the pin. Trying to nail down if its hydration issues or if it could be related to the age of the vial.

Anyone with experience on using reta past the 60 day mark since recon care to weigh in if they had worse sides as the age of the vial increased?

Logic would dictate 3 possibilities, but not a certainty

Degradation- would not cause more sides, maybe less as it gets weaker

hydration- does cause headaches

Bacteria/endo buildup- would potentially get cloudy, have floaters, or ISR
Checked it before I blasted it again this morning. Still looks clear. Only did 1.8mg or 18units today, leaving for a vacation Thursday

Headaches are really common, and do not have to be caused by the reta, but also could be. The lowered weight, eating less or differently and drinking less fluids could all also cause them, or it could just be random and unrelated. Are they migraine type headaches ( one sided and throbbing ) or more vague generalised head tightness? Do you have a history of headaches? If they are a new thing you have not had before getting a medical opinion is not a bad idea if they persist.

I would tend to think the least likely possible cause is contaminants or endotoxins

I got my worst ever cycle of migraines just after starting reta as an add on to tirz 15mg, getting them every day at 5 or 6 am while asleep, responded great to eletriptan, but kept coming back every day for about 8 days. Thankfully it stopped eventually. So I do not think headache is a common side effect but it is obviously possible. Worst possible case if they do not go away and you get it checked out medically is maybe having to try tirz instead.

I've never had a headache on Reta since the start, actually I've never had any real side effects fro 2mg to 10mg.

I'm a 8 week, 60 days guy on my reconstituted Reta, but will go 10 weeks if needed.
