Congrats! I know the feeling when I hit the 100lb loss (still 20 more to go). I bet you feel so much better. I had a good xmas as everyone got me a new wardrobe as my old clothes were just hanging off me. I bet your hips and knees are also very happy. I didn't feel bad but now feel much better and my phyicians are so happy. Got to stop my blood pressure meds and just had a repeat sleep apnea test and now can stop my CPAP. Keep up the good work!

Re: CPAP, I’ve had one for 5 years, you’d think I’d be clear to hang it up, but as annoying as the CPAP can be, if I decide to not wear it, I notice the next day big time. Wife would rather me wear it instead of snoring any day. So that’s something that I’m just going to be in for the long haul as it appears. Would be nice if I was able to leave the CPAP at home when traveling

Congratulations on your 110lbs! That's freaking fantastic.

I've been on and off of CPAP a couple of times. I'm thinking I'm ready to stop cpap again, but want a full lab sleep study.

As far as travel, I'm not sure if this helps, but when I travel, I use an end cap on my cpap machine and skip the water. Makes like so much easier and the lack of humidity for the short time has never been a problem. I also put my cpap machine, with the end cap, in my backpack and skip that whole ResMed case. That case is just another thing to carry and would let everyone know I'm on cpap. My personal health issues are really nobody's business, especially in an airport.

I put the mask in a gallon zip lock and the hose in another gallon zip lock and put those in my carry on. I never use the travel case and the machine has been fine and no problems with security. Doing all of this makes traveling with cpap no big deal. Even when I go to Europe.

ETA: The cap isn't necessary, you can travel with the water chamber and turn off humidity, but I find the end cap makes the machine much more portable.

I wish my fucking CPAP didn't work so good. Unhandy. Piece of shit. I hate it. But I love it. And I don't think I'll travel with it anymore. Love/Hate, that's what it is.
