Why are Chinese merchants so chaotic?

So far, every merchant I’ve dealt with follows the same modus operandi:

Price lists are always screenshots of messy Excel tables.

Websites are either vague, completely outdated, or broken.

Email addresses are NEVER linked to the website’s URL.

Email addresses change three times in a single forum thread.

Provided contact details, like Telegram, are often incorrect.

The names they use are always fake (I highly doubt that Chinese woman are named Eva and Hellen)

Is this standard business practice in China, and does it apply to other industries as well?

I’m genuinely curious why this is the case.

Does your local drug dealer have a better site? Look I get it, but it just seems to be the name of the game with Chinese vendors. Some of the US based vendors have much nicer setups but you are going to pay more for it.

My local drug dealer doesnt have a Chemical factory or he doesnt even pretend to have one.

But the real drug dealer in the world wide web are way better organized...

I didnt complained, with my thread I asked if somebody knows the reasons, so what do you get? I can see by myself that it seems to the "name of the game".

And im very well aware about that US companys have nicer setups and are more expensive.

So why did you waste both of our time with this meaningless response?

Honestly yes here in Philly many dealers have telegrams and run thorough operations with delivery even.

I’m genuinely curious why this is the case.

1) The fact we even get price lists is uncommon. They don't like publishing price lists because everything is negotiable. But we prefer it and have mostly pressured them into presenting at least a basic price list. (it's still negotiable though). Screenshots because they are lazy and things change often.

2) They are not operating legally, in a country with heavy surveillance. Also the way we do internet commerce is not ubiquitous around the world so they just don't care because most of their customers just use email, whatsapp, or wechat.

3&4&5) Those things get burned and they have to change them.

6) Extremely common for Asians to take western names in any business. It's also just a fact that people trust pretty women more.
