Thinking bout adding B12 for an energy boost with my tirz. Has that helped anyone? Any good sources for it for sub-q?

I like it, I use lipo C with b12 in it

I've been injecting the Durvet Maxi-B product made for farm animals. I started at 1mL per day, which gives me 1mg of B12 along with a bunch of other B vitamins. I started at that dose just to see what the immediate effect would be. Unfortunately I didn't notice any appreciable increase in energy. Since it didn't seem to work as expected, I decided to reduce my dose after a week, pending more investigation B-vitamins and what would constitute safe doses of each. So I still have some research to do.

I might try Lipo-C or one of its variants at some point.

If you think I'm wacky for injecting animal vitamins, read some of the Amazon reviews. There's a reviewer whose PCP recommended the product! Mooooo!

Didn't help with energy or nerves. But B-12 was already normal. Administered in doctor's office in the beginning.

My reading tonight 1 - read post about B12 and got interested, 2 - read next post about taking farm animal product and my eye brow raised, 3 - read this post and said ok, probably not for me now. Just another night in gray and black market region in my last 30 years.

If you're going to use b12 get it from Korean aesthetics vendors. It'll be pharma grade KDFA approved, not a mystery vial from China.

Same for glutathione, l-carnitine, vitamin c etc.

It's usually a lot cheaper too.
Korean vendors...please go on...

IMHO...

Unless you have a documented issue with oral absorption of B12 ( and I am not talking about the lack of intrinsic factor that can happen with age ), you are wasting $$ and possibly buying stuff you don't need to inject.

Instead, buy good quality fast dissolving Methylcobalamin tablets ( a form of B12 )

5000mcg is a good size. Hold 5-6 of these under your tongue until they completely dissolve.

No real need to do this more than every month.

This way, you are bypassing your gut ( in case you DO have alack if intrinsic factor... ) and forcing absorption by using a concentration gradient thru your oral mucosa.

Easier, cheaper, fewer pokes, and no chance of messing up your Tirz ( IF you were thinking about mixing in the same syringe... Lilly found problems with some compounded Tirz + B12 )

Safety first, cheaper and easier since there is a way.

🙏

I agree- I use oral B12 and it works- albeit almost too much. I was taking the 5000mcg and when I did bloodwork I was way too high. I had to back off to a lesser dose.

I was taking oral b12 for ages. Had a blood test come back with my levels nearly off the charts...dr told me to stop taking it for an entire year to go back down to normal. Can't say I noticed any sort of energy increase from it tho
