Most vendors want you to place orders via their whatsapp number. Be aware, if you were not already, that it is not as private as advertised.
I am not sure if I can post a link to the article from Reuters, but this came out a week ago. Texas Attorney General’s Office sued WhatsApp and its parent company Meta alleging they misled consumers about the strength and scope of WhatsApp's encryption measures, which a Meta spokesman denied. The lawsuit ... says WhatsApp and Meta falsely assure users that WhatsApp messages are encrypted despite having access to “virtually all” private communications on the messaging app.
