I stopped taking Reta about a month ago after reaching my goal weight, about a week ago my full pre reta hunger came back, had my first binge on the weekend after months of not binging, contemplating on going back on a low maintenance dose now to be honest.

I would say my eternal hunger came back around 1.5 weeks after being off reta, and the impulse to binge came back around 2 weeks in. Back on it now, was off only due to circumstance. I have started and stopped twice and experienced no issues getting back on it either time. The time I took off for each break was about a month.

I've pretty much decided that I'm going to continue with maintenance after I reach my goal weight. I felt full appetite suppression within 6 hours of my first 1 mg shot. I have no idea if 1 mg will be effective by then, but that impulse control is enough to keep me on it.

When you restarted did you go right back to the dose that you left of on, or did you go low and titrate up?

I went down about 1mg from the dose that I had previously been taking. So when I took a break at 4 mg I came back at 3mg, when I took a break at 3mg I came back at 2mg. Completely vibes based and not for any scientific reason, but I had figured that my titration of 1mg bumps every 4 weeks meant I'd likely lose 1mg of tolerability with each 4 week break.
