Hey, I wanted to make a thread where we can share our experience with Reta and PCOS.

For me personally, losing weight has never been this easy and on top of that, my hair growth has really slowed down, which is amazing and really saving me from shaving every second day :3

What has it done for you?

I imagine reta helping with insulin resistance eventually will help with it?

Yea, it definitely does. Before I would do OMAD with 23 hour fasts between meals for like 2 months on end, where I didn't even lose half of what I lost now without any effort. It had gotten terrible as I got older, really. But it helped with most of my symptoms so far. The only thing that didn't change is me not getting my period, but I never had that to begin with. So I'm probably still infertile too. Although I read reta may actually be able to help with that too? Oh well, time will tell!

I got through luteal phase for the first time with no acne and minimal bloating, so it's been fantastic for me.

I'm interested to hear more about others' experience. I had to stop taking Reta because my acne got so bad and my dishydrotic eczema flared up significantly. I have new break outs in spots I've never dealt with before. The only thing changed in my routine was the addition of reta. It is calming down now that I've quit. Very disappointed because at week 8 I finally started to see some weight loss. Wondering if maybe mine was not quality.. Would love to hear from others about this.

One of the ladies in my group has PCOS and is on Reta and I asked her for her experience. She also had metabolic syndrome prior to starting and I knew she had tried other peptides also:

"It’s the Reta. I started Aug 30. Nov 1, I came off the metformin (which I’ve been on since my 30’s) and 2 blood pressure meds. My blood work in December was beautiful. A1C is the lower side of normal. BP is beautiful. Cholesterol is normal (and they were wanting to add a med for that). I still minimize simple carbs, stay away from sugar, eat healthy but on occasion I add potatoes, bread, pasta, or rice and I don’t bloat up/gain instant weight. I was only on Reta for most if not all of that time."

I'm very sorry to hear. I haven't noticed anything like that, ever since I started taking it, but I'm also pinning GHK-CU on the side. Maybe you could try doing both together? It should definitely help with your eczema.

I hadn't considered how reta could affect PCOS but it makes sense, my girlfriend is starting on reta now and has PCOS I will share any positive effects - I've heard some women report losing stubborn fat from tiktok etc

I was a on tirz for 8 months and responded phenomenally; then insurance switched me to Semaglutide. It has not led me to reach my goal in the 10 months of use. But it has maintained my weight.

Today, I ordered Reta to try and lose the final pesky 18lbs. I'll let you all know how it goes.
