Ahh as usual, it's all dependent on the researcher. I don't think I'd be able to eat if I took 300mcg at one. Are you stacking or taking it on its own?
Stacking with Tirz

Has anyone noticed an increase in appetite when taking MOTS-C? It's not a side effect I've seen reported but I do seem to have more of an appetite when cycling on than off.

For more context I've been at 2.5 mg sema weekly and have cycled 4 mg mots-c 4 days on 3 days off per week, 2 weeks on then 2 weeks off.

I haven't personally noticed this. I've been doing 10mg/week for about 6 weeks now, split in 2-3 doses. I'm also currently on 1.5mg tirz and 100mcg cagri per week.

Could it be that you're able to work out more / harder and that may as a result be increasing appetite?

Thanks for chiming in. That may be a contributing factor, though I've been doing the same bike ride for my regular cardio regardless of the mots-c. Probably has something to do with the effects of sema diminishing after months at the top dose as well.

Finished a round of SS-31 and just did my first MOTS-C dose this morning. They need to put a disclaimer on all the guides and protocols that this one has some bite to it! 😂 After specifically searching for "MOTS-C burn" on various forums I saw that this is pretty common. Needless to say, I'll be including that on my searches whenever I look up new peps lol.

Is there a list for "Peps that bite back" anywhere? 😂
What is the recommended dosage for ss31?

With motsc i used to do 5mg x 3 injections per week. A total weekly dose of 15mgs.

I always got ISR. MotsC always made me sleepy. Not only me but my more mature friend who takes it gets the same sleepy tired feeling afterwards.

Of the peptides I’ve tried so far, the ones that bite back are KLOW and NAD+. I just add more bac water to the syringe and go slow.

I was SO excited to start mots c today, but my vial went cloudy, so I won’t be using it. I thought it was strange that it wasn’t pressurized when putting in the BAC water. Such a bummer, but glad to come across this info about it being spicy before I pinned.

For context I've been microdosing tirz for ~3 months (1.5 mg every 5 days) and even at that level the tirz fatigue has hit my hard.

When I added MOTS-C it was the first day I felt like I had real energy. For me it's been both alertness throughout the day, as well as additional energy when exercising / working out (which is what most report as the biggest effect).

For example, I did a hike at the very end of the day the first day I took it and realized after it was over that I had not at any point been tired, whereas I've been dragging myself through that hike ever since I started with tirz (it's a hike I do all the time with my dog, so it's an easy one for me to notice when I feel different). Today is only dose 2 and I have a workout later today, so hopefully it is equally effective with strength / weights!

And @moonpies4misfits hopefully adding more bac water makes the injection better!!
how many units are you pinning?

🥴 Dang, I hate to hear about the ISRs for MOTS-C. I’m on my second week of SS-31 primer and will be starting MOTS-C soon. I’ve done a lot of online research and hadn’t picked up that it was spicy yet, so I appreciate the heads up. I’m already pretty worn out from the KLOW ISRs and that’s even using most of the Anelia protocol (all but the lidocaine). A spicy peps list would probably have a lot of bookmarks! 😂

For MOTS-C, what avoided the sting for me was using a 1/2” pen needle, in addition to a dilution of 0.5ml/5mg.

For KLOW, what solved the sting for me was adding as much GHK Basic as GHK-Cu.

That are good tips. Thank you.

I quite like the burn 🙂 been doing 1ml of bac on a 10mg vial and dosing 5mg 3 times weekly, Dr Trevor Bachmeyer on Youtube advises doing the MOTS-C before the SS-31, which is the opposite to the mitochondria protocol on here
