I regularly fly a cross Australia, have my ice packs to wrap my pep's up with to stay cold.

This morning my MOTS-C had turned to a thicker almost liquid jelly consistency. I didn't use it of course but I now have questions and if others had the same experience.

1. We're the ice packs to cold for the start of the journey and thus changing the consistency, the vial did get put in the fridge when I got home.

2. Could it possibly be the pressure difference over several hours with two flights cause thicker consistency

3. Is there something wrong with the MOTS-C for it to go that way

4. Does MOTS-C do this as it ages in the vial over time in the fridge

The vial is the 40mg reconstituted with 3ml of BA, the Mix was only 8 days old.

Appreciate all responses and experience from others

Cheers

G'day all,

Should of done this first, but did some digging and found this.

Thought I would share.

I think this might be relevant to other peptides with higher mg's in 3ml vile

Have any others had this happen, especially travellers

Thanks for that mate. I'll be reconstituting Mots-c soon, so it's a crucial info for me. In general it means Mots-c requires more diluted solution. Didn't spot this info before.

Hi Tbird, I'd had exactly the same problem with mots in teh last week, and suspected it was the concentration. I reconned it and was all good, but, with not that much bac as it was a 10mg vial, and I do 5mg twice a week, so thought I'd just recon it with 0.1ml of bac vs the 0.2ml I usually use. Put it in the fridge, all good. Came back to it 3days later and it was kinda white and semi solid/jelly. I left warmed it up a bit in my hand and left it on the counter for 30mins, and with a couple of swirls it was back to normal again. So I was just thinking I'd go back to my usual 0.2/5 like previously next time.

Did I understand you well...you reconstituted 10mg of compund in only 0.1ml of bac water? Or am I missing something here? I have also 10mg vials of Mots-c and want to add 1ml, but now I'm confused, cuz maybe you mean 1ml not 0.1ml? Could you confirm?

I recon 10mg of mots with 0.2ml of bac in total, so each of my shots was 5mg of mots in 0.1ml of bac.

Next time round I'll be going back to my non-problematic recon instead, which is 10mg of mots into 0.4ml of bac, and do 0.2ml per shot. Didn't get cloudy for me previously at that recon dilution.
