hi all

im about to start on reta, im 190cm and around 112/114kg right now, i want to get down to around 80/85 and then bulk from there

im planning to start on 0.5mg per week and see how it goes

im currently lifting 3 times per week and will probably add another session in there and will be increasing my steps

im currently eating 2500kcls, 200gr of protein, 40/50gr of fats and rest is carbs

should i be aiming to eat the same amount when i jump on reta or do you think it would be hard with the hunger suppression?

You probably won't be able to eat the same amount. Just focus on protein (add some protein shakes to help) and strength train your ass off.

Obviously muscle is a priority for you which means you need to lose relatively slowly. Probably not more than a pound to a pound and a half a week (1/2-3/4 a kilo I think). More than that you are really going to burn muscle. So if 2500 is maintenance, yes I woild probably start there and watch it carefully. You are starting at a low dose, so you may have to cut back some, but I wouldn't make a big cut in calories and start Reta at the same time. Just eating protien isn't going to save you. It will be better than if you didn't, but still much worse than if you control your cut.

Makes sense, thanks!

My goal is to get rid of 1.5/2 pounds per week if possbile but i'm also okay with less.

was wondering how difficult it would with 2.5kcl per day

i took 1mg on friday and feel no appetite supression lol

felt a little stomach rumbling and a little nauseous on sunday

I’m aiming for 1800 - 2000 basically around my bmr when just lying here. Between gym, yoga, and walks I’m burning between 500 and 1000 most days. I’d like a pound a week off and a 500 calorie a day deficit x 7 days puts me there. It isn’t hard to stick to and the Reta makes it very possible but I often have a very resistible urge to eat more. Once tracking one realizes how much one was previously eating.
