Greetings - I keep struggling w this and intending to make my own list but then it occurs to me that somewhere, someone must have listed all the peptides available and what they do (including the most popular blends) I know there are a sh** ton of them and I'm not looking for them all but probably those that most people are interested in like aging related, weightloss related (metabolism), neurodiversity, etc. Thank you on advance. I apologize if I should know this info is tucked somewhere in these forums...Ann

A lot of the peptide journey is the research journey. There are definitely lists out there, but honestly they can become overwhelming fast because suddenly you’re staring at 100+ compounds, blends, acronyms, and claims all at once.

You’ll probably get more value building your own list slowly as you go and researching compounds as they come up naturally in your interests (fat loss, recovery, cognition, inflammation, etc.). That process tends to teach you a lot more than trying to memorize a giant master sheet.

Also, not saying this applies to you specifically, but one of the bigger frustrations in these communities is when people expect to be completely hand-held instead of putting time into reading, searching, and learning. The forum already has a ton of great discussions buried in old threads if you start digging a little deeper.

Doesn’t hurt to ask questions though. Everybody starts somewhere.

Please do proper research. There are tons of resources out there in the form of peptide encyclopedias, youtube videos and AI chatbots. Lots of research info and anecdotal information on this forum too. You already hit a goldmine of info by just discovering this website.

There's a treasure trove out there and understanding what you will be putting in your system is an absolute MUST .

A peptide is molecular formation classification: a short chain of <100 amino acids held together with peptide bonds, with numerous subtypes. It always makes me scratch my head when people ask a question as if peptides are various magical incantations to achieve every wish imaginable.

As for a list, would be nice to find a list of all the abbreviations the vendors use for each pep and blends. I have a few sorted but some I'm not 100% on.

This might help. It is a crop of a price list many use.

Use it as a general guide as it may not always be same. Eg tesamorelin is called TSM in this list but I've seen it also mentioned in other vendors list as TESA too

Assemble a list using the sources listed above, but then keep your own notes. You'll find conflicting information, especially when it comes to risks and benefits. One doctor will love peptide A and another will hate it. You'll need to form your own opinions based on a lot of different sources.

It depends a bit on what type of information you are looking for. If you want the hard science, and what has been tested and proven in human clinical trials, you end up with a very short list of peptides and you really need to read the scientific papers, though chatgpt in research/scholar mode is pretty good.

If you want a big list of all the peptides and what some people claim they do, with very variable amounts of actual science behind the claims , there are lots of them, but most are either from sites aiming to sell peptides, or by those who have bought into the whole idea and often make claims about what they do that goes well beyond what is known or proven. The biggest problem by far is when people claim a peptide does something and present evidence for it , but fail to mention or emphasise that the science is from cell or animal studies not human ones, and may or may not apply to humans, and mostly gives the false impression that effects are known and predictable, and safe.

And reading many different pieces of information saying the same thing indifferent places, tends to be very convincing that it must be true, and again gives a false sense that the effects of these peptides are known and safe, when most of the time human testing has not been done at all, so more or less by definition they cannot be considered safe.

GLP drugs do not really fall into this category, some of the newest ones have not fully completed human testing , but still have usually a lot of solid clinical trial data, and the older GLPs are very well understood and tested. This does not mean they cannot cause side effects or problems, but at least the research has been done, and the older ones are proven to be safe enough to use as drugs in medicine.

https://biolinkedsolutions.com/ is a pretty good source for information.
