Is filtering a fix or best to trash it?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been spending a lot of time reading through the threads about filtering lately and some of the discussions regarding safety and contamination have really made me rethink my process.

So far I haven't filtered at all, my risk tolerance is fine with that. I’ve been using SS31 for a little over a week now. I went on a trip for a few days and left all the peps at home. When I returned and checked it today, the solution itself is still clear, but there are definitely floaty things visible.

Common sense tells me not to touch it as it is, but I’m curious about the protocol here. If I were to use a filter now, would it be safe to save it and continue to use or is the presence of visible particulates an automatic trash it situation?

I'm leaning toward throwing it away to be safe, but I’d love to hear how you all handle issues like this. I'm still very much in the learning phase. I’ve been watching videos and reading through the archives here, but if anyone has any specific resources, guides or deep dives into proper filtering, I’d be really grateful if you could share them 🙏

It happened to me with a vial of reta with two doses remaining, in that case the solution got a little cloudy so I threw it all.

So far I never filtered too, but lately I’m changing my mind about it, the more I read on this forum the more I’m willing to filter. I’m already getting equipped to filter.

I’m also interested in this topic because a kit of SS31 is on my way home…

I’ve never filtered and never had any issues (other than spicy NAD and soreness from anything with GHK in it). My question on filtering solutions with floaters - if you can see them with the naked eye, aren’t they too big to get sucked up into a 30 or 31g pin? It’s like people who swear they have to filter anything drawn from a glass ampoules where you snap the top off - you must filter to prevent glass shards in your syringe. Really? There is no way a piece of glass is getting into that miniscule aperture. And if it’s a “micro-shard,” it’s not going to hurt you. Glass is inert - it will simply remain in your adipose tissue forever.

When in doubt toss it out

You wouldn't drink juice that had floaties in after you returned from vacation. So why would you inject it into your body.

Endotoxin poisoning is no joke. There could be something growing in that vial and you don't want to inject it's waste into your body.

You can't filter endotoxins out

Floaters some time after reconstitution is a sign of aggregates. And those are the ones you can see. Filtering might help, but won't remove all aggregates. Throw it away.

I see, makes sense. Thank you!

That's a good point and exactly why I asked this question! But then again, if there's nothing wrong with the solution aka no contamination (?) why would the floaters appear in the first place?

Therefore it would only be logical, as soon as floaters appear/are visible with the naked eye, that even if I manage to filter them out, the solution isn't safe to inject anymore..? Or..? Haha. Definitely still learning.

I'm not filtering and then drinking chunky milk that I know did not come out of the cow chunky. And I'm sure as shit not filtering and then injecting anything chunky into my body that did not start off that way.

And now all I can envision is the chunky milk cow being milked….

And now, all I can think of is that cow has mastitis and needs to be treated pronto!
