Interesting video.

Side note. We have what I consider excellent health insurance, and GLP1s aren't covered for weight loss.

The retail price of these GLP1s feels a lot like what Martin Shekyl did with Daraprim where it went from $14 a tablet to $750 overnight.

Novo Nordisk has less than two years of copyright protection on Semaglutide.

I wonder how many generic alternatives are being readied for launch then?
I was under the impression that the earliest that a semaglutide generic could be released was late 2031 or early 2032. Has this changed?

According Wikipedia, you are correct, the US Patent won't expire until 2031.

Off topic, but is it true that uploading a prescription on ADC is merely a "suggestion"?

@dionysos

Reading through todays posts and you've already given me 2 more vocabulary words for the day.

"agita" in the Glow thread and

"scofflaw" here

Your posts are the high point of my day. 😉

It's like a scavenger hunt searching for the words of the day in the various threads. 🙂

Novo just settled with Mylan to permit an authorized generic starting in 2026.

Can you share the source of that information please.

Here's a couple of articles about the settlement.
