@ZippityDooDah you mentioned the price being surprisingly affordable. While @clevesand definitely got a good price for what looks like great work, don’t get too excited, they didn’t need a very extensive procedure. Mine cost more than double what OP paid, in part because of the surgeon I chose, but also because I needed tightening all the way to my chest (fleur de lis tummy tuck — only google it if you haven’t eaten recently), muscle plication where they sew your abs back together, and lipo of the love handles. I gather you might have a weight loss history more akin to mine, so could require more than a straightforward paunch removal.
I thought the muscle plication was usually only for females following childbirth. I went into the appointment expecting it to be $10k, so I was surprised when they said $7500 and that no lipo was needed. I felt like I still had some stubborn fat but they did something with it because it's gone.

Update on the surgery: I'm still anemic, almost a week after the surgery, which makes me lightheaded. I did fall on Saturday and have a gash on my forehead from being lightheaded and losing balance. The recovery from the surgery itself has been pretty good.

Are you looking into a KLOW or GLOW stack to help with your recovery? Surgery is definitely going to be a requirement for me and its something I'm looking into.

I guess the plication was necessary in my case because of a lifetime of yo-yoing up and down.

Hang in there on the recovery. I had mine 10 weeks ago and it has been a journey. The swelling comes and goes which can really mess with your head.
