I'm a very anxious and sensitive person from nature on top of noticeable autism, to compensate the stress and frustration my first instinct is to go eat everything.

With the years passing i learned to control my urges and have find alternatives to evacuate the stress but eating is still my default go-to fast stress recover method, the bigger the stress, the more prone i am to eat.

i have a past as a severely obese child/teenager, i'm now a jacked and healthy 19 young man but a simple bad day can make me go in an ultra binge when trying to cut.

I've only done reta once and never went over 3mg per week because i respond pretty well on every aspect except the hunger side, my overall appetite and food noise diminished a little but every binge episode were close to as strong as before.

My question is: should i try a higher dose that would potentially be able to suppress the appetite of my occasional binges or should i try something else (i'm thinking about selank and/or DSIP) to fix my stress and frustration issue?

Reta is known to not have very good appetite suppression. If that is your main goal, you might want to consider switching to tirzepitide. If you really want to stay on reta for the other benefits, you could stack with a little cagrilintide.

You should also try to work on your stress and frustration for the multitude of other benefits that will have, not just their relationship to food.

i gotta admit that besides just trying to keep my composure the best i can i don't really do have any working techniques to swallow my feelings but i'm getting better at staying reasonable, last cut i pushed under 10%bf without any binge moment.

i guess i can still try and look into meditation for some help.

anyway, still thanks for your advice

I am currently managing my appetite/cravings using fat burners that contain ephedra, DMA, caffeine, guarana, white willow, yohimbe, green tea, gingko, yerba mate, L-tyrosine, and acetyl-carnitine. It also gives me the energy to burn more calories so two-way benefits.

If the urge is mainly stress-driven rather than hunger, stronger appetite suppression may not touch the part that makes binges happen.

I am on a similar situation. I will say that you need to address the stress and possible anxiety separately. In addition to Tirzepatide, my doctor had me on a dose of Wellbutrin which has helped a lot in addition to therapy. I don’t see Tirzepatide alone being the solution. ❤️

I’m on Reta 4mg and I still get cravings. Especially after my dose wears off a bit like on the 4-7day. I recently added Cagrilintide to help with the food noise but also want to try Selank to help with the my anxiety/sleep. I’m an insomniac that over analyzes everything lol.
