How soon did you start feeling effects after first dose?

idk if it's a placebo effect or if I'm just a quick responder, but I'm already feeling a complete lack of appetite less than 24 hours after my first pin of tirz. I even started on a low dose (2mg) since I'm on the lower end of the "healthy" BMI range. I could be deluding myself into thinking that I'm not hungry, but it legitimately feels like I'm full despite not eating much today.

This is the very first time I've tried any kind of peptide, so I don't have any personal reference points to compare with my current experience. I'm just curious if anyone else has felt effects kick in right away or if I'm delusional and/or an anomaly.
It was within 1 day for me. It was also my first peptide of any kind. Idk if I'm a super responder or not. I've been on it for 9 weeks and lost 23 lbs, starting 207, current 184. I'm 5'7" female with an athletic build so I've only got maybe 20 more lbs before I'll be looking really good. I just took my 2nd dose of 7.5mg. I skipped a week of 2.5mg at the beginning.

Felt my first 2.5mg dose like within 1 hour, which was weird. After 3rd and 4th pin it took several hours to feel it, and the next day it was full on.

Interestingly, I'm on the 4th day after my 4th pin and felt my stomach rumbling today in the morning for the first time since the beginning of administering Tirz. Yesterday afternoon and evening I was also a little hungrier. All this when was almost sure I was a super responder 😀

btw my BMI was "only" 26.5 when I started, currently at 25.

My first 3 pins, I had a reaction to Tirz, at about 18-20 hrs after the shot. 3mg starting dose. A gag-like reflex, I remember standing at the sink, spitting every 10 sec or so, as I couldn't even swallow the saliva in my mouth, which was flowing copiously during the event. Almost puked that first day. 2nd and 3rd pins were more like an upset stomach, like in knots.

I planned my pins from that point forward, to give me time during my workday to deal with it. But after the 3rd pin, it was gone.

I was 358 lbs when I started in February at 2.5mg. Took it last thing before bed, woke up, and had to force myself to eat that day and the next day. Felt it full force for over 48 hours straight and some for 6 days. That lasted the first few weeks. Now down 25ish later and a 7.5mg dose, I don't feel it until day 3 or 4 and it only lasts a day or two.

I took my first dose of Tirz at 7am. Never eat breakfast. Always ate lunch and started snacking throughout the day and dinner/night.

Realized at 8pm I hadn’t touched any food and don’t have a desire to. I super responded to Tirz. Switched to Reta 6 months later. Still don’t think I respond to it but still at a very low dose. Time will tell. Will probably go back to Tirz.

Very quick for me, a couple of hours. Next day could barely eat. In fact started having huel shakes for lunch for first month just to get in some calories and a balanced meal. Couldnt eat much for dinner either and that was at 2.5mg. I stayed on 2.5 for months.

I've also been relying on protein shakes just to get nutrients in. Also, it's crazy how little I think about food now! I used to be such a mindless snacker lol

I considered reta, but I read that it could increase heart rate, which freaked me out a little. What made you want to make the switch from tirz to reta in the first place?

Started with branded tirz. Effect was noticeable after a few hours.

But in the first week it only worked for 3-4 days. Now after 10+ weeks it last's all week on 3.5mg

On the positive side, higher heart rate can partly be from lower blood pressure. LDL may be better with reta than tirz. Also:

I switched from tirzepatide to Reta and until I moved up to 7 mgs had no appetite control. I added cagril and I can tell you it’s powerful I had to make myself eat. Also my bio markers also improved, normal bp, cholesterol numbers improved also recently has an echocardiogram done because I had a heart attack about 5 years ago. It showed a major improvement in left ventricular refraction the ability to pump blood. It has gone from 39 percent 2 years ago to 61 percent 3 weeks ago. That is in the normal range of a healthy heart. My cardiologist was amazed at the improvement and noted it in the report. He said it likely will be used to treat heart failure. Anyway that’s my experience and I’ve lost 96lbs in about 10 months.

There is also using tirz for ghetto reta (stacking with survo or maz) or stacking tirz with reta. For stacking though, cagri is a cleaner option. In any case, I will always be a tirz fan and still have more hoarded than reta.

The added fat burning effect. But honestly it’s been eh. Working about the same as Tirz for me with a little extra heartburn. My resting HR went up about 10 beats a minute. From 70-80. My workout rate didn’t change. I max out at 160 and haven’t ever gone higher so Reta hasn’t affected that.

Odd one for me. I went to lunch ~1 hour after my first pin and got a meal I usually get. Got about half way through and had pretty bad onset nausea to the point where I couldn’t even fathom taking another spoon. Interestingly, I haven’t had that sort of sensation again even though my overall appetite is less, and I actually went back and had that meal a few weeks later with no major issues.

Was either first time exposure, or that I somehow injected straight into a subcut capillary or incredible placebo effect but spooked my initially.

Been on tirz for 6 months now. it's going to sound crazy, but day 2 is when I first noticed I had 0 interest in eating snacks, & really didn't want to have dinner either. Almost 6 months later, for me, I can barely eat. I definitely get protein & nutrient shakes in, & have very small meals from time to time. I'm trying to be better with it.
