That's insane, I haven't encountered that one yet. I wonder if they have taken it down. Technically I feel like they just take promoters money and not even screen their ads.

This is how I actually was introduced to Reta. Different company but identical process. Came off an IG add. They asked some questions about my weight loss goals, health background, and other typical intake questions from a telehealth type place.

They prescribed me a months supply of Reta (1mg/wk). Has a licensed Nurse Practitioner tied to it who “prescribed” it. It was fulfilled out of a 503a compounding pharmacy and shipped directly to me already reconstituted. The shipment was very nicely packed with ice packs, syringes, and alcohol wipes.

The prescription itself says it’s not FDA approved but no where on the vial does it say for research purposes only. Prescription may have but I tossed the paperwork. First month was discounted and they wanted $399/mo after that.

They scheduled a titrating schedule of 1mg/wk for the first month. 2mg/wk for month 2 and then it goes up by 2mg every month.

Honestly, this is how I imagine it will be once it’s officially approved. It’s an easy process to get into, they handled it well. Only “downside” was no COA, but being a licensed 503a pharmacy based in the US I would imagine they have certain standards to maintain.

How is that legal? I cannot be. Product is not on the market.

It's not legal. At all. They will probably get sued and shutdown. The issue is that Reddit management are a bunch of hypocrites. They advertise peptides and nefarious sellers relentlessly, but if you talk about them, you risk getting banned or your post deleted, at the very least.

Their enforcement policies also widely vary between subs on the same topic. I recently got a message from a MOD that told me to rewrite a post I had written 4 MONTHS before in third person, like "My RS took X", or it would be deleted. So I deleted it and left the sub. What assholes.

I mean ya that post is clearing point to a biz that is going to scam or 10x overcharge. I think reddit is also to some degree managed by AI so it is random what is banned and accepted.

Only thing I ever got into there, Is a long sub on Pripyat/Chernobyl. Haven't been over there in a few years.

Probably aren't and likely getting where we are, and relabeling it.

I have seen similar ads on IG and was wondering how the FDA isn't going to prosecute them for that sort of false claim as well as selling something for research purposes only without disclosing that. Side Note: The general peptide and Reta subs over on Reddit are beyond toxic. However I stumbled into a nice person who hinted at this forum and I landed here and am grateful for that. I learned so much here and finally took the plunge into Reta.

This is basically how I got introduced to the world of peptides. Last month my mom started taking reta from her naturopath. I started to get suspicious, knowing she's an MLM lady and when she started prescribing research chemicals. This is one of my mom's long time "friends," and she was charging her $350 per month to do a blood work for her and give her four pre-drawn syringes of reta with an unknown dosage (later found out to be 1mg). It took a few weeks to break mom away from this and now she finally understands that there was never a compounding pharmacy at any step of the process.

And yet she still recommends people to this quack bitch, who, mind you, is a healthcare professional and calls in scripts for people all while injecting them with research chemicals and lying about the origins.

The website they get them from is "AlphaBioMedLabs.com" and they operate a compounding pharmacy with a similar name to help make it seem official. I don't think the lady even understands that it's all from China, nor does she care. They have some kind of referral program and "legitimate" looking sign up process for soccer moms who get wise, they sign up in the downline and get kickbacks and "wholesale" prices (hundred dollar single vials).

Maybe it was me!

I hang out on r/peptideguide now and again and try to give people at least quasi-helpful advice. I'll usually drop a quick DM to anyone who seems sensible and poke them over this way just because there's so much bs on Reddit about peptides!
