I am making the switch from compounded tirz (started in April 2024), but originally started with Zepbound back on 12/7/2023. Had been trying to get Wegovy filled in Nov 2023, but no pharmacies in my area could even order it. As soon as I read the FDA approved Zepbound, I jumped on having my PCP send a script to the local Walmart who actually got it in a couple of days. Switched to compounded when the shortage began and then started planning ahead for when Zepbound will eventually come off the FDA shortage list.
I've been lurking on several other areas for a while doing my research and learning all I can (sources, testing, etc.). I work in healthcare and have zero issues with the reconstituting aspect, but needed to learn and research the rest.
