Hey everyone! I’m glad to be here.
I’m in Arizona and joined because I’m trying to be more intentional about my health instead of just reacting as things come up. I’m a former athlete and now focused on losing and managing some leftover “football weight” I don’t need to carry anymore.
I have a daughter and she’s a big motivator for me. I want to stay active, healthy, and present for as many life experiences with her as I can which has really shifted my long-term mindset.
I’m currently pretty active w/ weight training 4–5 days a week and usually playing basketball on the weekends. However, I’m also active in my fridge 7 days a week. I’m here to learn how GLP-1s fit alongside the activity and helps keep the hunger noise down. I’m especially curious about stacking Peptides and whether these tools can help with old sports injuries that still linger. I’m loving what I’ve been reading about Reta as well.
From a family health perspective, most of the men in my family passed earlier than they should’ve after struggling with weight most of their lives. Over the past five years, I’ve drifted closer to that space myself and I’d like to be the exception rather than repeat the pattern. I battle with ADHD so often times that food noise is my body seeking quick hits of dopamine.
Im focused on metabolic health and prevention. I appreciate honest, grounded conversations and I’ve already noticed a great balance here between serious discussion and humor. Lots of good chuckles had already in reading the threads.
Looking forward to learning from everyone and contributing where I can. Appreciate the welcoming vibe so far!
Last bout not least, as I’m sure you can all tell by now brevity remains one of my biggest goals in life! lol.
