Has anyone ever heard of Sigumir peptide, for cartilage regeneration?

I had heard of Sigumir peptide, it's supposed to be a Cartilage Bioregulator. Other names include Peptide complex A-4, or Khavinson Peptide, named for it's creator: Dr. Vladimir Khavinson. I don't know if it's just not popular, or if it's just unknown. I have searched the site, and it doesn't seem to be mentioned at all. It shows promise in helping to regrow cartilage, and I would really like to do that, knees and shoulders are nearly gone, 4 surgeries on knees and two torn rotator cuffs. I'm on Reta, which is supposed to help with arthritis, but growing new cartilage sounds like a fantasy. Maybe no one is making it other than the people at the Sigumir company. Maybe there's another name that it goes by because of copyright law. Any information would be welcome.

Maybe Cartalax? It's a Kavinson bioregulater

There's that and Cartalax is one that comes up a bit you can search for on here. I've done a couple rounds of both and didn't feel anything, but I think it's one of those things you're going to be on it a long time and just hope to maintain what you got.

I've had 13 surgeries, mostly Orthopedic and I know where you're coming from. This one is from Whackadoo land over here, but I've been on Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium or PPS for about 1.5 years off and on. I get it from a Dr. in regenerative medicine who orders it from a compound pharmacy for me. It does cost a few bucks, but like the other stuff it takes time to take affect and actually does help at least in my case. This stuff is in stage III clinical trials now and should be on the market late next year hopefully. It's a 70 years old Bladder medication, that's already FDA approved which is why they can make it and sell it. Horses have had this stuff for years, my dog is on it and now it's getting around to humans. I have a lot of Arthritis, so my Dr. keeps me on a dose every week. I can't take Nsaids, because of my Weight loss surgery, so this is my Option B.

I have to have another procedure soon and have to come off of it, as it is a mild blood thinner. The longer i take it, the better it works. It's just really slow improvement for me and I plan on being on it as long as It can get my hands on it.

I see that Cartalax (also known as AED or T-31) is a Khavinson creation, but it's not the same peptide as Sigumir but they are apparently sometimes prescribed together. Different structures.

So you were able to try the Sigumir?

I had just read that Sigumir and Cartalax are sometimes prescribed together for the same issues.

I haven't heard of the Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium before, but I'll see what I can find out about it.

The difficult thing is finding a vendor who makes it. I am interested in the Cartalax, and I had talked to a vendor who was carrying it, but also one who doesn't, I downloaded both of their PDF file shopping lists, but I can't remember which one belonged to which vendor. I'll figure it out eventually.

Thanks for the information. Would be nice if I could run again, and not have to have the knee replacement surgery. I've heard that they click when u walk, that would annoy the fck out of me.

I had mine replaced a few years ago, they click when you walk, but you get used to it. The recovery is a Bear, but wish I had done it sooner. Hell I'm recovering from a Rotator cuff, bicep tenodesis & labral repair now. Quality of life my friend!

I had seen both on a few sites (don't know what the availability is now) getting them wasn't an issue. But I ran a dose of each the Sigumir and Cartalax at the same time over a year ago, didn't notice anything at all. No negative side affects or anything, just doesn't seem worth the investment for me at this point. The Pentosan is legit for me, there just isn't much on it out there. But you will find a few Dr's in the regenerative medicine space talking about it on you tube. I take Pentosan for my Arthritis pain, difference between a 5 and 3-4 on the pain scale for me. But I had to throw a couple thousand at this to get here. My neck and back will need surgery in the near future, I'm just kicking the can down the road at this point. but hope the Pentosan can slow the progression down.
