No sides, other than ISRs using Chinese gluta. So Korean gluta from a domestic reseller on the way. Yesterday was the first time I tried my max, 600 mg (mostly IM but some subq).

I use Indian gluta. I recon with the injectable vit C ampules supplied in the kit plus the sterile H20. I usually have at least a little burning isr. When I pin subq as deep as I can the ISR in minimal.

A point of previous contention at this forum, but even with a filter needle, it seems impossible to filter out the smallest particles of glass:

Ampoules are opened by scoring the neck and snapping the top off. In "one point cut" (OPC) ampoules, a dot above the neck marks the correct thumb placement that aligns the thumb with a pre-made micro-score in the ampoule. If properly done, this last operation creates a clean break without any extra glass shards or slivers, but the liquid or solution may be filtered for greater assurance.

OTOH, a lot more waste with vials since vit C is ideally used within four hours, though I guess a few people are freezing injectable vit C too.

How do you open the ampule without breaking it?

I just hold it in a paper towel and snap the top off with my fingers. I have always wondered about glass shards. Hopefully they sink to the bottom. I don't draw the last mm or two at the bottom into the syringe. I did once crush the bottom so I had to use oral C. Thank you CalmLogic for the red dot info!!

I've never filtered. Wish they had a screw top or something. Maybe I'll stick to the quality grade oral liposomal vit c that supposedly is mostly absorbed. I got some liposomal well rated glut too. I run 12 weeks Indian pharma glut Im, then a few months later I'll run the oral stuff 90 days. I take it for liver support cuz I tend to booze.

NAC is still the gold standard for Tylenol overdose for treating the liver. NAC is sometimes used for other drug-induced liver injury too. NAC is processed by the liver, forcing the liver to produce more glutathione.

Oral NAC is well tolerated, so I sometimes take higher doses like one gram three or four times a day.

I'll start a thoughts-and-prayers thread for my liver if I get bad test results But there are studies with similar amounts, especially for short-term use. I tested my ALT soon after starting higher doses, and my ALT was only going down.

With the Fitomics subscription, it's only a few dollars to do a CMP which includes ALT and AST. So the limiting factor for retesting is my patience for the waiting room. Even with an appointment, it can be the majority of an hour at LabCorp or Quest.

Geez, that is surprising, especially for a low dose. Splitting up the doses to twice a day may help? Zofran could help too, if you aren't wanting just 50 mg at a time.

I brought 2* 600mg kits, I was on my 2nd vial when i started to feel ill, I was taking it first thiing in the morning which may have contributed but I can't find anyone online who's experiencing the same symptoms as me so it's got me worried. I'm going to chuck the vial I have open and try again in a few weeks i guess. What time do you take it and do you have any symptoms?

Various times. No symptoms except ISRs if subq, depending on concentration.
