So this morning I discovered a brand‑new GLP‑1 side effect: unexpected superpowers.

Picture this: I’m doing my normal morning routine, brushing my teeth with my right hand like a responsible adult. Suddenly I get an itch on my right side. No problem—I reach around with my left hand to scratch it… and absolutely overshoot the target like I’m trying to swat a fly on another continent.

Next thing I know, my left hand is basically patting me on the middle of my back like, “There, there buddy, you’re doing great.”

Pretty sure my arms didn’t grow overnight, so the only logical explanation is that my once‑barrel‑chested torso has shrunk enough that I can now reach around myself like a human pretzel.

At this rate, by summer I’ll be able to scratch between my shoulder blades without even trying. GLP‑1: come for the appetite control, stay for the unexpected flexibility upgrades.

Anyone else unlocking weird new body features lately?

No superpowers yet on my side, but I’m starting to suspect my body is secretly updating itself in the background.

If I suddenly gain the ability to scratch between my shoulder blades with zero effort, I’ll consider the GLP-1 expansion pack officially installed.

Its not the scale that catches me off guard - I can predict that will creep down slowly. Its things like have to tuck my thick overshirt into my pants to keep the pants up. Warning TMI - sitting on the shitter in the morning and feel like I may fall in as my ass shrank. Having to wear t-shirts under an overshirt to fill them out. Also becuase cold. Or OR - going to cross you leg and the leg keeps going and now the leg is crossed on the other side like a fancy lady. ( I am a robust Dude)

“Robust dude” unlocking the fancy-lady leg cross is my favorite GLP-1 superpower so far 😂

Yes! I can sit in a lawn chair with both legs crossed in the chair. Like Indian style. Been awhile since I've had that much flexibility much less can be comfy in that small of a space.

Really happy for you meeting your weightloss goals. It is honestly inspiring me to lose another 10lbs.
