Hey, I'm curious about ideas for sourcing cosmetic peptides. Some of my normal pep people have things like GHK-CU or AHK, which is awesome, but I'm also looking for a few others:

Argireline / Acetyl Hexapeptide-8

Matrixyl 3000 / Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

Matrixyl Synthe’6 / Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38

Ideally looking for reputable cosmetic raw material suppliers with clear concentration, solvent/base, etc

Did you ever find anyone for this? I know Deb/Priscilla has it on their "Korean Skin Care" site but I try to not use them. I've found SNAP-8 a few places and have been using that instead of Argireline.

These ingredients have been popular in DIY skincare communities for a very long time, so I would look at established cosmetic ingredient resellers rather than grey-market peptide sources.

A lot of reputable cosmetic raw material suppliers/resellers provide the exact INCI name, concentration, solvent/base, usage range, and up-to-date spec sheets.

The only tricky part is that these are often sold under various trade names, so you’ll usually need to identify the INCI name for each ingredient and then use Google to match it accurately.

For example:

Argireline® Amplified peptide solution = Acetyl Hexapeptide-8

Matrixyl® Synthe'6® = LCPeptide™ Syn-6 = Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38

Matrixyl™ 3000 = LCPeptide™ 3000 = Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

Disclaimer: I have not ordered these specific ingredients myself, but I have purchased other ingredients from this reseller over many years. You’ll still need to test your own formulas to make sure the final product is stable. Otherwise, I’d stick to making small batches and using them up within a week.
