Just got my reta and I'm going to be using it for the first time tomorrow. Is it alright if I keep both the reta and the bac water in a drawer, or do I absolutely have to refrigerate them? One vial is 10mg and I'm going to be sticking to 1mg per week for the first 10 weeks. Will I face any issues?

Bac water yes in a dark cool place the Reta I would place in the fridge.

Refrigerating is best. If you have a roommate situation buy one of those small fridges made to hold a six pack and keep that in your room.

Refrigerate, ideally use in 30 days. Cold temperature slows potential bacterial growth and helps with stability. Do not store for 10 weeks at room temp.

I erred in storing my BAC water. I used it once to reconstitute a vial, and then put my BAC in the fridge, and has been in there for almost four weeks.

Le sigh. I do have two Hospira vials on the way at least.

I do that for the same reasons we keep reconned peps in fridge. I’ll finish the bottle of BAC up at some point.

Your BAC in the fridge is fine... Use it till it's gone!

Okay good to know! I kept reading it wasn’t good to do that.

I do practice a very strict sterile process when using vials and syringes. I was just ignorant of the storage.
