I use about 20 to 30 units of cagrilintide. is that bad?
Units are a volume measurement. That doesn't tell us anything about how much cag is in that volume. That would be measured in milligrams.

I'm suprised your not impressed with cagri. I'm about 4 weeks in now 0.25mg stacking it on top of tirz 10mg and it's been really good for appetite suppression.. if I take it in the morning I can feel it by dinner time where as tirz on its own the suppression comes and goes. It did exactly what I wanted it to but I think it does make me really tired

I did 0.25mg Cag on Saturday to stack with my Reta. No fatigue. It did seem to help with hunger, and I don't feel like I need to increase it next week. Low and slow.

In my case, I reconstituted 5 mg with 2 mL bacteriostatic water, so each unit equals 0.025 mg. I draw 30 units, which is 0.75 mg of Cagrilintide.

I’m up here in the stratosphere with my 4mg every 5 days and still not getting much out of it besides nappy time.

No appetite suppression or food noise reduction at all?

I think it's fair to say that you shouldn't be doing this without adult supervision.

That was a while ago, but no, not really. It helped a lot at first but my tolerance grew quickly. I save it now for when i am switching from one med to another and want to bridge the gap with something that works quickly, which it does if i havent used it for a while. Lifetime of a cagri cycle for me is like 2 months tops, and i get up into the 5mg 5 days/wk dosing range for a good chunk of that.

Thought I was losing it, but cagri also made me feel more hungry. And also sleep for a whole day.
This has been my experience as well - more hungry and severely fatigued so I switched it to night time administration which helped but the hunger part is confusing. Seems to be the opposite effect for me then what I intended it for

I feel like cagri is a good short burner like 2 weeks to a month then it loses the effects or "feels" as some put it. i went as high as 3mg every 3-4 days on a stack and burned through it quickly when chasing that 1st or 2nd week push

I started cagri at .125mg's for 2 weeks, then .25mg's for 4 weeks and moved to .375 last week. it's working well with my 7.5mg's Tirz. Feels like I might be able to stay here for a while. I do my tirz on Mondays and my Cagri on Thursdays and that seems to get me through the week perfectly.

Not sure how you could be taking it every day or even every 3 days but I guess everyone's different. It takes a month or so for it to reach stable levels in your body, so weekly injections are recommended to feel how a current dose is doing for you.

Maybe like other say, your receptors just aren't sensitive to it. If it wasn't working for me, I'd switch to Survo as that's a different path all together.

I am reta-resistant. I've been on it for six months, currently on 8mg/wk. No weight loss, and no appetite suppression. In fact, I was ravenously hungry and thinking about food 24/7. I just started cagri - 1mg, and feel absolutely nothing. Am I just resistant to everything? Perhaps I need to try tirz, maz, or survo instead.

Unfortunately, there is a significant number of people who don't respond to these medications. That number is probably somewhere in the range of between 10-17%. The predictors are difficult to determine, but age, sex, diabetic status, and body composition at starting are likely determinants on this non-response.

Were you on something before the reta? Like sema?

That's very useful to know, and kind of reassuring. Yes it seems like there are quite a few of us non-responders. I've only been on reta, nothing else. I pinned 1mg cagri 5 days after my 8mg reta dose, as the hunger gets uncontrollable on day 5. I'm yet to feel any difference but I'm also very hesitant to bump up cagri too quickly.

Sounds like you've been slowly titrating up on cagri, which is a reallyy good idea. Since cagri work on different receptors than glp-1s, maybe cagri will provide you with some relief where the other medications did not. From your message history it doesn't sound like you have a lot of weight to lose (if any) and that you're doing this mostly for preventing adult onset diabetes, right?

Actually, I pinned 1mg on my first day, which I think is considered reckless. Still ravenously hungry, even more so than before I started reta and cagri. Perhaps the answer is to just quit reta cold turkey and just stick to cagri.

I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but most of it is around my mid-section, which is always a bad sign at my age. GH has helped me trim down a bit, but I want to make sure that I don't develop diabetes and other related complications.
