Also had elevated ALT and AST readings while on Reta but also on Cymbalta. Stopped both, three months later returned to normal range. Reintroduced Reta and levels stayed in normal range.

Generally, eliminate as many potential causes as possible and with doctor’s consent, maintain until returned to baseline / normal range. Then consider slow reintroduction of other meds or supplements.
