Hi everyone 👋

I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself.

I’m a 40M from Denmark and have been on the GLP-1 journey for about 4 years. Ozempic/WeGovy (Semaglutide) helped me lose around 30 kg, which has been a huge change for me.

Recently, I switched over to Retatrutide and I’m currently at 1.5 mg E3D and in the 4 week. So far, I’m not really feeling much of an effect compared to when I first started Semaglutide, and I’m wondering if I should stay at this dose a bit longer or consider increasing.

I’d love to hear from others who’ve switched from Ozempic/WeGovy to Retatrutide:

How long did it take before you felt it working?

Did you need to go up in dose to notice a difference?

Looking forward to learning from your experiences and sharing mine as I continue this journey.

Thanks in advance!

My RS had to do a midweek dose of Sema (for a few weeks) until the dose was high enough and started working. Now doing 2mg twice a week and showing good results.

Hey, i'm from denmark too. 🙂

You've been on a glp-1 before , so I will usually take higher doses, before it works.

I'm on a tirz and reta combo, so going down in tirz and up in reta.

Oh, I was stallng at tirz 10 mg and had side effects, I couldn't live with, therefore the switch.

I'm now in week 2, 3 mg, and my weight is moving again.

But it's individual, and I read that a lot of people need to go higher when coming from another glp-1, like 6-8 mg weekly.

I have been on both Tirzepatide and Semaglutide. I didn't really see anything until Retatrutide 6mg then good effects with weight loss at 8-10mg.

I didn't stop the sema. I just added the reta. I have 1mg of sema on Sunday and take 2mg reta on Wednesday.
